Tips for Preparing for the Proctored Final Exam
Here are some suggestions on how to prepare for the Proctored Final Exam (due by 12/4/15):
- Final Exam Review Homework on MyLabsPlus: a homework assignment that checks each problem as you go
- MAT 0123 PRACTICE Final Exam on MyLabsPlus: Only 33 problems, but not necessarily the same 33 problems on each version. Must sumbit the whole test to get feedback
- Study Plan for MAT 0123 PROCTORED Final Exam on MyLabsPlus: You can practice or take mastery quizzes on each topic covered on the final. If you do this after taking one of the practice exams, it will only show the topics you missed.
- Go back over homework assignments from the semester and try to improve your score. (if you turned in your homework on time the late penalty should have been removed.)
- Use a calculator that is allowed (like the TI-30XIIS) while preparing for the Exam so you can get used to it (NO graphing calculators or cellphones allowed on the exam).
- Also, refrain from looking at your notes as much as possible when preparing for a math test. The closer you simulate the testing experience, the better prepared and relaxed you will feel when you take the Proctored Exam.
Remember the Final exam count 20% of your grade. And you must get at least a 70% on the Final Exam to pass the class.
