 Welcome! 

I am pleased to have you as a new student.  I teach this course ENG 1123 Comp II online also.

For eight years I taught high school English before our children were born.  When they entered school, I began teaching college on a part-time basis and have taught in many places over the years.  My husband has been a pastor at various places in the United States, so I have taught in those areas whenever I so desired.  We have lived and worked in Atlanta; New Orleans; Barrington, Rhode Island; Boston, Massachusetts; Birmingham, Alabama; Malawi, Africa; Brasilia, Brazil.  We now reside in Pearl, Mississippi.  This is "home" that we have come back to after being away 30 years.

We have two adult children and six grandchildren.  There is one puppy--Corona(Sheltie--Shetland Sheep dog--looks like a tiny Collie).  We also have one outside feline-- Lionel.

 I will always try to respond to questions within 48 hours (not assignments--I need at least a week to grade all that come in) with the exclusion of holidays and weekends.  I will not respond to assignments after the turn-in date unless previously arranged.
