Your email account is easily accessed by a click of a button inside your My.Hinds account that looks like:

 

 

 

Why do I need to have a Hinds email?
This is where all Hinds Community College email notifications will be sent.  Your instructors and offices throughout the college send important messages and updates to this account.  We recommend that you check your Hinds email daily. The Distance Learning department requires you to use this email address to email your online instructors.

Please note that Hinds email and Canvas Inbox messages are not the same. This is why it is so important that you check your Hinds email account daily because the college sends out official messages via Hinds email; not Canvas Inbox.
