Can I take classes from another community college in the state?

Students can request classes from any college in the MSVCC consortium, however there are a couple of requirements that must be met. First, the course must be listed in the Hinds CC current catalog with the same number of credit hours. Second, the instructor must be approved by Hinds faculty credential standards. Please know that all Hinds classes will be filled first before a class from another college will be used. All students must be aware that when a course is pulled in from the Mississippi Virtual Community College, all of the instructor's course policies must be followed. For example, the proctored testing policy may be different at another community college. They may not allow virtual testing. You must follow all of your instructor's course policies found in the course and on the course syllabus.
