Inclusive Access Information

What is An Inclusive Access Course?

Inclusive access refers to a course that contains the required materials, such as the ebook/textbook and online resources, in Canvas on the first day of class. The Maroon Book Bundle (also known as First Day Complete) accounts for the number of credit hours you are taking and charges your account accordingly. In this way, any inclusive access courses you take are already covered. Inclusive access users also have the option to purchase a low-cost version of the book through the Barnes & Noble bookstore.

Yuzu

Yuzu is a platform used to view standalone eBooks in inclusive access courses. With Yuzu, you are able to access your eBook within Canvas, the Yuzu website, and the Yuzu applications for PC, MAC, Android, and IOS. You may also download the eBook using these applications.

Yuzu Account

When you access Yuzu through Canvas for the first time, you are creating an account behind the scenes which will allow you to view the eBook within Canvas. If you wish to view/download the eBook using the desktop and mobile applications or access through the Yuzu website, you will need to login using your school email address and change your password.

**Important** Do not create a Yuzu account on the Yuzu website. In order for Yuzu to connect the books you have access to, you must use your school email address. Whenever an account is created on the school LMS (Canvas), the system will generate a Yuzu account assigned to the student's school email address and First Day program digital content. The system generates a default password and the student will need to change it by following these steps:

Please go to reader.yuzu.com/ Links to an external site. and sign in using the email address assigned to the account. Reset your password and a link will be sent to the email address. Once reset, you should be able to login to access your materials.
