Below are additional support systems in place to help you be successful in your classes.

 

NetTutor

Each of your Canvas course shells will have the NetTutor access in the course menu.  This is a 24/7/365 free tutoring tool.  You can get tutoring in a variety of subjects such as English, math, biology and there is even an online writing lab.  If you do not see the link in the course menu, ask your instructor to provide the access in the course menu. 

Students can get FREE tutoring and help in the NetTutor writing center when you are not on campus! (All papers submitted to the online NetTutor Writing Center must be submitted as a .pdf)

Hinds Writing Center

To support you in reaching your goals this semester, the Hinds Writing Center will be tutoring online through MyWCOnline to offer help with any written coursework, as well as resumes, application/scholarship essays, and other writing projects.

To make an online Writing Center appointment (we'd prefer you to do this at least an hour or so in advance, please), simply go to hindscc.mywconline.com Links to an external site. and schedule an appointment as you would normally.  In the window that opens when you click the preferred time slot, you will see the option of choosing a face-to-face or online appointment; choose online. The appointment itself will take place in the MyWCOnline portal.
