Information about MyLabsPlus

The majority of your homework, quizzes, and unit tests will be done through www.HindsCC.MyLabsPlus.com (Links to an external site.) Links to an external site. 

An account has already been set up for you using the same login information as Canvas. The password will not automatically update to match your password on Canvas, it will stay the original password: capitalized First and Last initial, birth-date (MMDDYY), dollar sign. For example: FL010189$

You do NOT need to buy a textbook. One is available, but your MyLabsPlus account includes an Ebook, so it is not necessary. 

There are so many great features available through this website.

·         You can rework your homework several times before the due date until you get the grade you want thanks to "Similar Exercise".

·         There are lecture videos, powerpoints, and animations for each section we cover under "Multimedia Library" in addition to any posted in your homework assignment

·         After taking a quiz or test, there is a "Show me what I need to study" under "Study Plan" that will allow you to focus on what you missed so you can do better when you retake the quiz.

·         There are tips on how to study math and how to reduce test anxiety under "Study Skills"

·         The entire book is availble to you as an EBook in your MyLabsPlus account
