Go to the Grammar Byte page on irregular verbs. Focus on studying the following list of irregular verbs: rise, set, sit, lay, lie, swing, steal, tear, sing, ride, speak, ring, grow, ride, beat, blow, choose, freeze, fall, draw, swim, lead, run, come, drink, go, see, write, eat, forget, lose.

There are twenty questions, each worth five points. You have twenty minutes to complete the quiz.

Directions:

Write the correct form of the irregular verb in each sentence. You must decide whether to use the simple past or the past participle form. Remember that the past participle of a verb must be used with a form of have (have, has, had, or having) or a form of be (be, am is, are, was, were, been, or being).
Example:
rise The bread has _________in the oven.
The answer would be risen.
