Net Tutor
For Essays 1, 3, and 4, you will be drafting and submitting your essays from home. This means you can take advantage of the Canvas program Net Tutor. Net Tutor is a free online tutoring service provided through Canvas, and you are allowed to submit your papers to Net Tutor in advance for some feedback on specific areas.
Please note that tutors do not proofread your papers. They usually point out the first instance of a major problem, but you are responsible for finding all further instances of the same error. Also, you are limited to two specific areas for feedback, such as grammar, paper format, organization, etc. Choose the areas where you have the greatest weakness.
You will need to submit your draft at least 48 hours before you need feedback. The draft should be as complete as possible in order for you to receive the best feedback. I encourage you to use this service and get as much feedback as possible on your essays.
NetTutor requires you to submit your paper as a PDF file. If you don't know how to do this, click on the following link to watch a short instructional video: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDnXVjhS1k

Here is an instructional video for NetTutor. Some of the pages look a little different now, so I have included updated screenshots in the directions below.
