Week 6 Overview: Learning Objectives and Assignments

Friday is the last day to withdraw from 2nd 8-week online classes.

Essay 4 will be the last essay that you complete at home. It is also the essay that will require the most preparation, so be sure to work ahead on this week's assignments.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this week, you should be able to:

• Understand the requirements for Essay 4.
  
• Set up and cite quotations for Essay 4.
• Research articles on the SIRS Researcher database.
  

Assignments

• Read the instructional pages for Essay 4, including the handout "Guide to Using Sources in Essay 4," which you should download and use as a reference while writing the paper.
  
  
• Complete the Quiz on Writing Argument Essays.
  
  
• After deciding on your topic and researching articles, Email 2 Articles From the SIRS Database to Mrs. Speights.
  
  
• Complete the Essay 4 Outline with a Works Cited Page 
  
  
• Register for the Final Exam
